Getting there is easy! We have 2 sets of directions for you to use:
From Lafayette and From New Orleans |

Directions to Topwater Lodge from Lafayette, via US-90 E/Evangeline Thruway:
- Follow Evangeline Thruway/ US 90 E toward Morgan City. Continue on Hwy 182 through Morgan City.
- Take the Houma exit 210. At the end of the exit take a left to go toward Houma.
- Continue on Hwy 182 until you come to the first stoplight, where you will take a left onto Prospect St.
- Go straight on Prospect St. until you come to Highway 25/East Park Avenue. There are several landmarks at this turn: a CVS Pharmacy will be on the left-hand corner, a Shell station will be on your right-hand corner and there will be a Chase Bank directly in front. Take a left at this intersection.
- Continue on East Park Avenue for about 5 miles until you come to the first stoplight. Take a right there and go about ½ a mile to the next light where you will take a left onto Highway 56. Royal Flush Casino will be directly in front of the intersection.
- Continue straight for about 25 miles. The camp is preceded by several landmarks. Look for the following and you know you will be getting close:
- Piggly Wiggly Food Store in Chauvin – you have about 15 minutes to go.
- The Boudreaux Canal Bridge – you have about 10 minutes to go.
- Sportsman’s Paradise Restaurant
- Sandpiper Inn – five more minutes!
- Bayou Bait and Tackle – start slowing down!
We are about 9 camps past Bayou Bait and Tackle. There is a sign at the end of our driveway that reads “Topwater Charters” and this is where you will turn. Our camp is tan with white trim and a white roof. |

Directions to Topwater Lodge from New Orleans, via I-10 W:
- Follow I-10W until you see the 1-310 S Boutte/Houma exit.
- Take the I-310 S exit and continue to the US-90 W exit toward Houma.
- Continue approximately 22 miles and take the Houma exit 210. At the end of the exit take a left on Hwy 182 to go toward Houma.
- Continue on Hwy 182 until you come to the first stoplight, where you will take a left onto Prospect St.
- Go straight on Prospect St. until you come to Highway 25/East Park Avenue.
